If you find you are unable to access your passwords within the Encryptr application, it is likely due to the fact we are currently cycling the Encryptr servers on-and-off. Currently we are doing so weekly for 1 hour/day in order to encourage users to write in or check our help center so they can be informed the Encryptr is reaching it's end-of-life date of March 4th. This time frame of shutting off will expand to encompass greater time periods until finally the servers will be permanently disabled. If you are an Encryptr user, please take the time to migrate your passwords off of Encryptr before the March 4th date.
"Why can't you just e-mail users warning them you are shutting down Encryptr?"
Unfortunately Encryptr doesn't collect PII (Personal Identifiable Information) and therefore we have no e-mails to send. We are currently broadcasting from the social media outlets we can that we are closing Encryptr down, and if the disconnection is negatively affecting you, we do apologize.
