If you find you are unable to access your passwords within the Encryptr application, it is likely due to the fact we have finally shut down the Encryptr servers after months of cycling the servers on-and-off. We are currently planning to re-enable the Encryptr servers temporarily for users to retrieve passwords this weekend (4/24-4/25). As of August, the Encryptr servers are now finally disabled. If you have questions about this, please write in to our support team at support@spideroak.com.
"Why didn't you e-mail users warning them you are shutting down Encryptr?"
Unfortunately Encryptr doesn't collect PII (Personal Identifiable Information) and therefore we have no e-mails to send. We are currently broadcasting from the social media outlets we can that we are closing Encryptr down, and if the disconnection is negatively affecting you, we do apologize.
