There are several possibilities why a confirmation code did not arrive in your email inbox. Here's a quick checklist of things to try:
- Double check your spam folder. The code may have been marked as spam by accident! We make every effort to ensure email deliverability, but in rare cases a confirmation code email may be marked as spam.
- Resend the code. To do this close the Semaphor application and restart it. You’ll go through the account creation process again and another code will be sent.
- Confirm you aren't using the email address of a current Semaphor account. This is a less common reason why a confirmation code email doesn't arrive, but if you previously set up Semaphor it could be the culprit. Try adding an alias to your email address, such as changing user@email.com to user+semaphor@email.com, and see if the confirmation code arrives. You can learn more about email aliases here.
