Among the reports available in SpiderOak Enterprise Backup is a backup status report. By default, it is run daily and lists those users who have backed up in the last 90 days but have not backed up in the last three days. The report is saved in .csv format to the directory /var/log/omva/backup_status. The most recent seven days of reports are retained there.
The report can also be run on demand. To do so, log in to the management console VM, then run (on a single line) a command of the form:
sudo bash -c ". /etc/default/openmanage; python manage.py backupstatus -b 90 -n 3 -s name -o /var/log/omva/backup_status -r"
The command above will generate a report with default options, but you may change or add options to meet your needs. The available options are:
--help. Show a concise help message and exit.
--version. Show the version number and exit.
v N, where N is an integer from 0 to 3. Sets the level of verbosity. 0=minimal output, 1=normal output, 2=verbose output, 3=very verbose output. If not specified,
-v 1will be used.

--settings myproject.settings.main. If this isn't provided, the DJANGO_SETTINGS_MODULE environment variable will be used.
--pythonpath PYTHONPATH. A directory to add to the Python path, e.g.
--traceback. Raise on CommandError exceptions.
--no-color. Don't colorize the command output.
--sort-order. What the report will be sorted by. The available choices are bytes_stored, last_backup_complete, last_login, name, device_name. For example,
-s namewill sort the report by the name column.
--reverse. Reverse the order of the rows in the report.
--backed-up-within BACKED_UP_WITHIN. Include those users that have backed up within the specified number of days. For example,
-b 750will include users which have backed up in the last 750 days. If not specified, the default of 90 will be used.
--not-backed-up-within NOT_BACKED_UP_WITHIN. Include those users that have not backed up within the specified number of days. For example,
-n 7will include users which have not backed up in the past 7 days. If not specified, the default of 3 will be used.
--outdir OUTDIR. The output directory for the report. If not specified,
-o /var/log/omva/backup_statuswill be used.
The backup status report was introduced in version 3.3.2 of the management console and is enabled by default. If you wish to take advantage of the backup status reports but are not yet on version 3.3.2, contact us for assistance in updating your installation.
