We test SpiderOak One and Groups on the latest stable version of CentOS. At the moment that's CentOS 7, which ships with glibc 2.17, which in turn meets our current version's requirement of glibc 2.14 or greater. CentOS 6 ships with glibc 2.12, which is older than our current version needs. Your choices are:
- Upgrade CentOS to version 7. This is the ideal solution but we realize that it is easier said than done in some situations.
- Upgrade your CentOS 6 to glibc 2.14 or greater. How to do that would be a question for a CentOS support forum.
- Downgrade to version 7.1.0 of SpiderOak One or Groups. We provide old installers for situations like this, but they are provided on an as-is basis.
Although CentOS 6 is still supported by its developers and will be until 2020, we only build for and test on the latest stable version of CentOS.
