If you would like to get a clean start by emptying your account of all devices, data, and journals, sit down at any computer that has SpiderOak One or Groups installed and delete the application data. See the instructions for One or Groups to do that. Do this on each of your computers that have the application installed.
On any of those computers, launch the application. Log in to your account, and the application will help you create a new device. You will then go through syndication to set up this new device with our servers. Being a new device, you will have to set new settings. Two settings that you should pay particular attention to are:
- What files you select in the Backup tab to be backed up
- Disable the LAN-Sync option if it is available
Next (and this is what will clean out things and get you a fresh start) delete the old SpiderOak One or Groups devices. To delete a device, open the Manage tab, select the device to delete, and press the Remove button. Repeat this for each of your old devices.
Now set up your other computers as new devices as described above, and you'll be all set with a clean start.
