CrossClave version 11.0, "Zebra Spider"

11.0 is the version you really want!

This release had a real focus on longer term work like the new file upload experience and gearing up for an iOS release as well as laying the groundwork for a future external filesharing feature! While those features didn't make it into this release, it does come resplendent with many bug fixes that cropped up as a part of our work to refactor the Android version of the application. It also comes with some nice quality of life additions like Rich-text copy-paste and the ability for CrossClave to save your scroll position when switching between tabs.

As always we've also quashed a bunch of bugs and smoothed out rough edges to make CrossClave better and easier to use. We hope you'll enjoy version 11.0!

New Features

• Can now Search within the File mentions modal
• On Android devices, removed "Exit CrossClave" UI prompt to instead rely on native behavior
• Can now paste rich text into the message composer
• The Chat view now saves scroll position on the list of messages and restores the position when the user comes back
• Added a button within CrossClave to automatically go to the forums
• CrossClave spaces now sort more naturally

Bug fixes

• CrossClave now handles and retries "keychain locked" errors when they occur instead of simply crashing
• Remedied an uncaught exception after having removed the splash screen plugin
• Middle-click no longer opens links in a new CrossClave window
• Android UI logging is no longer broken
• The @ symbol in the message compose bar for mentions now allows member selection
• Spaces can no longer  be DoS'd with malformed JSON in a chat message
• Avatar and chat message are now properly aligned
• Notification badge once again present in space or team list for unread messages on mobile
• Placing the cursor in the search field no longer closes the emoji picker
• Send button is no longer enabled when you have an empty composer
• Share into CrossClave from an Android device is now working
• Remedied upload problems that were occurring with the refactored Android app
• CrossClave no longer gets stuck when creating an account or adding a device
• CrossClave now respects when auto-rotate is disabled
• Photo/video upload buttons now working in the Android refactor
• Back button no longer has to be pressed twice to work
• CrossClave now allows users to paste Text/URL in the message composition bar
• The @ mention picker can now handle long member names
• Code can no longer be pasted in a link message
• Rich text is now enabled when selected the first time
• Cursor no longer goes back to the beginning of the line when the Code snippet button is pressed on/off
• Chat 'send' button is now properly sized
• Clicking 'bold', 'italic', etc. in the chat formatting menu now works even if the text area is not selected
• Line breaks no longer appear in the chat box
• Erasing all the text now properly resets formatting tools
• Removed some error messaging that was occurring unnecessarily on Android devices
