For security reasons, it is not possible for SpiderOak staff to change the email address associated with your account. This is to protect you from our employees falling victim to someone impersonating you, or from overzealous officials who might order us to change your contact information for their own purposes. You can easily change this information yourself, however.
In the SpiderOak application on your computer, click on Account - Email - Edit. You will be taken to a secure web page where you can update your email address. Press the Update button when done, and you're all set.
You can change the address to anything you want, but we recommend using the address you will use to contact us for any future matters. See Why and How SpiderOak Authenticates Users for more information on why we recommend that.
