Access to the Account Window is found at the bottom right corner of the ONE desktop application. From within the Account window, there are options related to miscellaneous account and billing properties.
From within the Account sub-window you can:
Change your Password
Select the 'Edit' button in this field to change your password and/or add a hint. Keep in mind password changes are pushed to your account much in the same way uploads are. if you are having trouble changing your password you may need to Clear Your Upload Queue and attempt again.
Change your ShareID
Select the 'Edit' button in this field to change your ShareID.
Change your e-mail address or Credit Card / Billing Information
Select the 'Edit' button in either field to have ONE automatically open a web browser window. This will also bypass the normal method of logging in using a username and password. From within this page you can change your e-mail address of record, change your account subscription plan, and update your billing information.
Beginning with version 7.5.0, the account window additionally shows the account type, cost, due date, and account status:
Account type
Paid or 21 day trial. If your account is on a trial and you wish to keep it, do be sure to purchase a plan before the trial ends.
Cost
This only applies to paid plans. This is the amount you will be charged on the due date. The amount shown is in U.S. dollars.
Due date
This only applies to paid plans. This is the date on which your renewal will be automatically billed. If your account is overdue, this date will appear in red.
Account status is one of:
- Current. All is well.
- Overdue. Please update your billing information as described above.
- Overdue and Locked. Your account is overdue and will not work until you have updated your billing information as described above.
- Locked. There is a difficulty with your account; please contact customer support. When you do so, mention the lock code and the email address associated with your account.
