The Clear Upload Queue button is located within the SpiderOak One and Groups' desktop application's Dashboard under the Overview sub-tab. The button is used to remove unwanted files and folders from the queue and can often clear up a stalled application. To use it:
- Open the Dashboard tab in the application running on your computer and select the Clear Upload Queue button.
- A dialog box will appear listing the steps to clear your queue. After reading the steps, close the dialog by selecting "Yes". The application will shut down.
- Restart the application. You will see that your queue has been cleared and that backup operations have been paused. Open the Backup tab and review your selection of files and folders to be backed up. You will probably want to deselect some things here. For more information on this, see What Data to Select for Backup. If you make changes to your backup selection, save your changes.
- Select the "Resume Backup" button to resume normal backup.
Using the Clear Upload Queue button will completely clear all actions being pushed to your account that have been queued to occur. This includes things like uploads, password changes, and deletions. Choosing this button will close the desktop application and re-launch it. When the application re-launches it will begin syndication. After finishing syndication the application will open to the Dashboard with your uploads Paused.
